I love looking at before and after decorating pictures. It always amazes me how just a few changes make such a drastic difference! Before and after photos offer such great inspiration to everyone thinking about tackling a project.

Well, I put a few before and after decorating pictures together, that I hope you enjoy. From window treatment ideas, small bathroom makeovers, to a total farmhouse renovation!

If I saw a "For Sale" sign in front of this house, I would drive on by. But this house got a transformation that is unbelievable!

I found this remodel absolutely stunning!

Window Treatments

There is beautiful molding around this inset window. I didn't want to hide the molding, or much of the view for this client.

 A box pleat curtain was the best choice for this window treatment idea. I love box pleat curtains because they are easy to make and do not take a ton of fabric!

Front Porch Makeover

Adding Character

An old antique lead glass window made the perfect touch for added character in an open area. It looks great from both rooms!

Living Room Design

In the photo below, the iron piece above the mantel did nothing to add interest or color to the room. Replacing the large iron piece with artwork was perfect!

When adding draperies, a little fabric goes a long way. Changing out the chair made a spectacular difference! The new chair's lines and curves are beautiful; a much more polished look than the previous old frumpy chair. Replacing the fabric ottoman with the rectangle wood coffee table, was a much better fit!

Bathroom Makeover

How fun is this small bathroom makeover? This is from Better Homes and Gardens, and it just goes to show you how easy it is to make a huge impact in a small space! Here is my small bathroom makeover.

This is what my kitchen looked like when I first saw it! Talk about needing to be added to the before and after decorating pictures gallery of shame! I knew this kitchen had potential. It just took a lot of faith, hope, and believing . So, the first step was deciding how to paint kitchen cabinets.

I painted the cabinets, changed the counter tops, and replaced all of the hardware! What a difference!

Entryway

This was a fun project to do. The current table just wasn't substantial enough for the space. Choosing a larger piece of furniture, adding accessories, and choosing some great artwork transformed this entryway from boring to sensational!

This is one of my favorite before and after decorating pictures!

Nursery Decorating Ideas

There isn't anything more fun than decorating a nursery. When it comes to nursery decorating ideas, I love to see understated elegance.

In these photos the focus is on the dresser. The lamp the client purchased was just too small. So, I purchased a taller lamp and chose one with an adorable pink shade.

Girl's Bedroom Ideas

If I was hired to only decorating kid's rooms, that would be okay! You can have so much fun coming up with imaginative and creative ideas. Below is a photo from my girls bedroom ideas page.

This little client's room needs some help.

New curtains, girl's bedding, a cheap idea for a bedding crown, re-painted nightstand, and some new wall decor gave this room a wonderful transformation.
