Well, before I even begin to tell you how fabulous I think this blog is, I must first make an apology. On my favorite blogs page I go on and on about how wonderful these blogs written by women are, and it is all true.

Dear Lillie is a blog that was created by Jennifer Holmes. Now, when you read her profile it mentions that this blog is a collaborative team made up of her mom, Heidi Crotty, and two sisters, Jamie Druke, and Dana Crotty.

Well one of their newest writers, is their brother, Jason. Okay I have to give him props. He is hilarious, a hands-on uncle, and he can sew a dress! So, with that apology out of the way, let’s take a look at why this blog is one of my top favorites.

Talk about dining room design at a ten! I love this dining room photo! The white table, white linen, and beautiful green accessories make the room "pop".

Not only is this master bedroom gorgeous, but Jennifer has a tutorial on painting curtains! No, this isn't a misprint! This is one of the best ideas for interesting window treatments!

The two pillows in the photo above are made from bed sheets, and the stripes on the pillows -- you guessed it! They are painted on! I love it!!

I love just about anything involving chalk, writing, and fabulous quotes. But, I never thought about using chalkboard paint on the side of my cabinets. Outstanding!

Okay, this is one of my favorite wall decoration ideas. This tutorial was titled, "Decorating a Wall for $1.99". I just wish I wasn't too old to do this in my bedroom.

The branches were penciled on the wall, and then painted in. Then they attached crepe flowers! And even better, they have a tutorial on how to make crepe flowers.

Dear Lillie Shop

Besides running this beautiful blog, Jennifer and her family have a sensational "Dear Lillie Shop". Their shop carries things from beautiful children's clothing to decorative pillows with sayings. Their success story is so exciting. They started out selling their items with Etsy. They sold more items in the first two weeks, than they expected to sell their first YEAR!

Not only that, but The Nate Berkus Show has come calling! What an inspirational story.
