Drapery Dilema

From the living room to the back with a great garden view. See the endless ceiling?
Entryway looking in. I assume all 3 windows should be the same.

I am trying to replace the drapery treatment in my living/dining room. The room has a very tall vaulted ceiling and often lacks that "cozy" feeling. The furniture is solid in a sage/olive green, the walls a neutral ivory, accents in deep red. Should I try a pattern or just a floor length neutral color drape?

Hello Laura,

Many times when trying to decorate a room, the windows can really be a problem! As far as the fabric choices, I would go with a pattern. A pattern will really add warmth to your room.

As far as the style of drapery, I would go with long panels. Hang them on wooden rods with wooden rings. You can use one panel with your single windows and pull it to the side.

Good luck decorating, and be sure to send the makeover photos!
