There are millions of home decorating blogs on the internet today. I read a quote, “When I’m a grandma, I’m going to blow my grandkids’ minds and tell them I’m older than the internet.” That will certainly be applicable to me! I don’t know if your head is spinning or not with all the internet blogs, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc., but it can be very overwhelming!

I wanted to give you a list of some of my favorite blogs on the web! They have some of the most innovative DIY decorating ideas on the internet. They can teach you all about flea market finds, interior home decorating, wall decoration ideas, and ideas for interesting window treatments. The list can go on and on!

Becoming one of the most popular home decorating blogs takes a tremendous amount of work! I love the quote from John Maxwell, “talent isn’t enough.” These women aren’t just talented, they are a “roll up their sleeves and get it done” kind of girls! They don’t believe it has to be perfect to be beautiful. They don’t believe everything has to be brand new. And they sure don’t believe in the unattainable goal of “the perfect house”. These women believe in my motto, “making a house a home.”

Times are tough right now on all of us, but making a “home” is so important. Creating a retreat for our families is a gift we give to them. If you hate the word “homemaking”, then you need to stop reading right here. I believe in being a homemaker, I am queen of the home. I wear my crown when I clean, yes I do!

So, if you are looking to be inspired by some incredibly talented women, look no further. Be careful though, their blogs are quite addictive! They will fill you with great ideas, make you laugh, and most importantly, make you feel right at home.
